What divisions make up the Group?
The Group consists of two main divisions: the Paper and Recycled Paper Division, and the Packaging Division.
What is the Group’s competitive advantage in the markets it supplies?
The Group's competitive advantage comes from its use of 100% recycled wastepaper as raw material, primarily Old Corrugated Cartons (OCC) and some mixed waste. This approach not only supports sustainability but also positions the Group as a significant player in the recycling industry, especially within Egypt.
Where does the Group source its wastepaper from?
Approximately 80% of the wastepaper recycled by the Group is collected within Egypt, making it the largest recycler of OCC wastepaper in the country. The Group also imports OCC from regional countries and southern Europe as necessary.
How does the Group manage its wastepaper collection?
The Group operates its own wastepaper collection recycling depots and has direct collection arrangements. It also partners with larger suppliers in Egypt to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
What products does the Group manufacture, and where?
The Group processes its raw materials on three paper machines located at two papermills, Interpac Mill and ELF. These mills produce high-quality and efficient test liner and fluting paper in roll form, customized to meet customer size requirements.
Who are the main customers of the Group’s paper products?
The Group supplies its paper products to its own corrugating lines at New FinePac and EgyPac, making it the largest supplier to the Egyptian corrugated carton market. Additionally, it serves core export markets throughout the MENA region, Africa, and Europe, catering to a global clientele.
What kind of final products does New FinePac and EgyPac provide?
New FinePac and EgyPac utilize the Group’s paper products to produce corrugated carton board, catering to a wide range of large multinational clients and brands, thus ensuring high-quality packaging solutions for diverse needs.
